ENSENADA, BC- In
order to boost economic and tourism development and cultural exchange,

Twinning between the cities of Ensenada and San Juan Capistrano , California,
United States.
The signing of the twinning was performed within the eighth session of
the Committee of Sister Cities, developed in the landmark Social Center, Civic
and Cultural Riviera by the mayor of Ensenada, Marco Novelo and the mayor of
San Juan Capistrano, CA, Sergio Farias.
The first ensenadense mayor described this as historic for the largest
in Mexico township, for San Juan Capistrano it is one of the most important
cities in Southern California.
"The sister cities have you been a vital and priority for my
administration subject, this program has given us a lot through the years and
is a pleasure to recognize our neighbors a great ally" External
Marco Novelo said that between the two regions a tourist vocation, a
passion for service and creativity that make it stand out among other cities
shared.
"Today I am pleased that we return to this partnership and decide
to strengthen our ties, held the mayor Sergio Farias of San Juan Capistrano see

He said the work is paying off ensenadenses every day, from the

The mayor of Ensenada said that the relationship is strengthened with
the signing of Twinning, it is given a fundamental step for both cities,

He gave special recognition to Andrés Nicolás Saad, chairman of the
Board of Proturismo, as the driving force and pioneer of the Sisters Cities in
Ensenada.

work hard so that our communities grow in a cultural and economic development

For its part, the mayor of San Juan Capistrano,

never end.
In turn, Mario Cuevas Zamora, Consul General of Mexico in Santa Ana,
California, United States, said that both cities have very similar profiles for
its history in missions, so economical with the Pacific coast, the potential in
tourism, agriculture and cultural, as well as the wealth of its people, among
